Psychological assessment

Psychological assessment for adolescents (14–18)

Support for balanced development. Adolescence is a stage full of change and challenge. A psychological assessment helps to understand a young person's emotional, cognitive and behavioural needs, giving them the information they need to better understand the essential aspects of their development.

What does the assessment cover?

  • Cognitive development and intelligence – attention, memory and logical thinking are analysed to identify strengths and learning difficulties.
  • Personality and thinking style – dominant traits and ways of adapting to different situations are explored.
  • Emotional state – signs of anxiety, depression or stress are identified.
  • Behaviour and social relationships – how the adolescent interacts with family, friends and teachers is assessed.
  • Self-esteem – how the adolescent sees themselves and their level of confidence are analysed.
  • Motivation and interests – motivation for school, career and extracurricular activities is assessed.
  • Managing emotions and stress – the ability to cope with emotional challenges is analysed.
  • Eating difficulties – the relationship with food is assessed, identifying possible difficulties such as anorexia, bulimia or compulsive eating.

How does the assessment work?

The assessment is carried out through interviews, questionnaires and psychological tests adapted to each adolescent. The results give a clear picture of the factors that may influence their psychological development.
